Okay folks, I think this what we all have been waiting for.  We are down here a little over two years and have tried  many so called italian restaurants but nothing compares like back in NJ/NYC area. Fortunately for us, we came across this Italian restaurant and as my old friend Mateo said--"this is a home run." Several of us took my daughter out for her 19th birday and had the best italian food in a long long time. When you walk in, the smell of the gravy (yes I said gravy, you want sauce go buy Ragu) permeates your nose to the back of your brains. The salad is really delicious and a nice size. When you are served a great salad, you are anticipating a great entree.  Out of the seven different entrees ordered, no one was disappointed. After a while, the table reminded me of an old italian restaurant we ate at in San Francisco. It was in the Little Italy dining section and you were seated as a table with other people. The concept was order- and then everyone shared a bite. This is what happened at Valentino's that night. Everyone was sharing a bite or "try this" at our table. Suffice it to say, I had a mahi mahi prepared with schrimp scampi over spinach. It was excellent. I am not going to make this a chapter in a book but leave room for the dessert.  If you are like we are, you will want this place to survive just cause it is so good and reminds you of back home.
